ABOUT MY PRACTICE
I find that analytic work develops in a unique way with each person that I work with.
The best way for you to find out if we might be a good fit is to meet with me for one or several sessions.

I work with dreams, visions, active imagination, and expressive methods such as sandplay. Many people bring their dreams and may paint or draw significant figures and events in their dreams.

Work that invites communication from the unconscious has a way of affecting both people involved and may create what is sometimes called the "third," and which I think of as a liminal space in which we may both participate in our sessions.

While I have extensive training and experience working with infants and children, including early trauma and attachment issues, it is not necessary to try to reconstruct one's childhood. Childhood memories, which may be more emotional than visual, will come up when psyche is ready. In fact, adults often experience their most emotionally charged issues in symbolic form in dreams and through expressive methods.

I work with people online and in person in my office in Evanston, Illinois. I also hold some office hours at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago in downtown Chicago.

Consultation. I consult about work with both adults and children.

Teaching. I teach at the Chicago Institute in both the Two-year Postgraduate Program and in the Analytic Training Program, as well as in workshops in the United States and internationally.
